Pacific Northwest born & raised, Katie Buss grew up with a passion for sweets & baking — started kate & cake co in 2012, and moved to NYC in 2015 to attend The International Culinary Center (founded as The French Culinary Institute, FCI), receiving the Grand Diplôme in Professional Pastry Arts, graduating top of class with distinction, and with top honors & awards.
At kate & cake co we believe in using all top shelf ingredients, purchased locally and seasonally — all desserts are made fresh and by hand, custom, and from scratch, 100%.
